The masked trio garage crusaders got an album coming out soon. "Sunday Driver" is the first taste and it is delicious! It;s two minutes of typical Shrinker stuff. Music led by the bass line with no middle eight, making repetition an art form. It's not out on streaming sites til 16th October but the band made 20 pic discs for Bandcamp Friday.. but we pried a few from their sweaty pincer grip.
They cost a pretty penny.. but you do get the sublime, desk mix of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" on the flip. Recorded live at the Jenny Lind last December. Column258's Andrew Cooper even steps up and transforms the song with his fuzz cornet action.
