As a precursor to a mini album penciled for November 2024, the Hastings six (or 7 or 5, or 4 or 3) piece have recorded two tracks of psych jazz infused post punk for POTL's series of limited edition Bendy 7"s.
It's a two song invitation to the inner thoughts of lost souls and hopeful monsters. We first saw Column 258 one evening last summer, playing a roof top gig above the up + coming “St Andrews Mews” in Hastings town centre. What an unexpected joy it was too. “The ghost of Ian Curtis” vocal delivery floating amidst a mongrel mix of Can and Happy Mondays.
