This is what happens when Funk House / Broken Beat producer Mr Bird lets loose on alt country art provocateurs Frank From Blue Velvet’s mournful anthem “The Lullaby.”
Mr Bird takes bassists Ruby Lyon’s Spanish interlude and makes it the star of the show. Dub reverb, ghostly vocals with an ambient house kick will see the song reach new ears .. Which is exactly what a remix should do, right?
